Warm morning in Delhi, rains likely

New Delhi, Aug 7 (IANS) It was a warm Sunday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling two notches above average at 27.6 degrees Celsius. The Met office has predicted rains later in the day.

“It is expected to turn cloudy by evening. Rains are likely in parts of the capital,” said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).

“Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius,” he added. Humidity stood at a high of 95 percent.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 33 degrees.
