Warm morning in Delhi, rains expected

New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a warm and humid morning Tuesday as the minimum temperature was a notch above average at 29.1 degrees Celsius.

The humidity was 70 percent at 8.30 a.m. in the national capital, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

However, weathermen have forecast showers towards evening and night.

“Clear skies will become partly cloudy and there is a possibility of thundershowers in the evening and night,” the IMD official said.

Monday’s minimum temperature was 27.3 degrees Celsius and maximum was 36.7 degrees Celsius.
