Warm Holi for Delhiites as temperature rises
March 1st, 2010 - 3:37 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, March 1 (IANS) The national capital was awash in the colours of Holi Monday with the pleasant weather adding warmth to the celebrations, even as the weatherman predicted some rain in the city later in the day.
According to the India Meterological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature Monday in the city will hover around 33 degrees Celsius
“There are chances of light drizzle at a few places in Delhi due to upper cyclonic circulations,” the official said.
The day temperature has risen several degrees in past few days, bringing relief to the residents of the capital from a long winter chill.
The maximum temperature on Sunday was 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 15 degrees Celsius.
