New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) It was a warm day in the national capital Wednesday. However, cool breeze will bring relief to Delhiites towards the evening, the met department predicted.

The snowfall in parts of the Himalayas has had its effects on Delhi’s weather with cool breeze and a dip in the night temperature.

“The winds in this season come from the northwest, so they cross the Himalayan region and the effect of snowfall can be felt by the cool breeze,” an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum recorded in the morning was three notches below average at 16 degrees Celsius.

The clear sky in the morning is likely to transform into partly cloudy towards the later part of the day, the IMD official said.
