Warm, clear day in Delhi (Lead)
March 10th, 2011 - 7:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 10 (IANS) It was a warm day in the national capital Thursday as the bright sun shone over the city throughout the day. The mercury will rise further in the days ahead, the met office forecast.
“The maximum temperature was 27.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, while the minimum was 15.9 degrees, two notches above average,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity levels were between 85 and 35 percent.
The met department has forecast a bright day Friday with clear skies and no possibility of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 28 and 15 degrees, respectively.
