UAE, Sweden explore green technology cooperation
December 7th, 2009 - 8:52 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Abu Dhabi, Dec 7 (IANS) The UAE’s Minister of Environment and Water Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad and visiting Swedish Minister for Trade Ewa Bjorling Monday discussed sharing the expertise in green technology.
The two ministers also discussed a host of environmental issues, including energy generation from wastes. The issue of benefitting from Swedish environmental technology was also raised in the meeting, WAM news agency reported.
The UAE minister said that his country is ready to partner with Swedish agencies specialising in green technologies.
