According to the weather forecasters it seems that the Tropical Storm Fred which had reportedly formed over the Atlantic is slowly gathering strength and getting stronger with every passing moment.
The Tropical Storm Fred, which is reportedly the season’s sixth tropical storm, formed on Monday.
The Tropical Storm which initially was a mere depression located far in the Atlantic Ocean slowly gathered strength and transformed itself into Tropical Storm Fred. The weather forecasters reports that Fred has maximum sustained winds of 50 mph and is moving towards the west at around 15 mph.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm is centered at about 285 miles southwest of the southernmost Cape Verde Islands and is gradually moving towards the West. The Tropical Storm Fred is hinted by the forecasters of gaining more strength during its quest.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the Tropical Storm Fred formed at 11 p.m. on Monday at the Atlantic. Although the forecasters are expecting the tropical storm to develop into a hurricane within a next few days, it is believed that the storm would cause no harm or threat to the land as an area of high pressure is set to weaken to the north of the storm, thus allowing Tropical Storm Fred to curve more towards the North.
Weather forecasters are expecting the storm to weaken below the actual hurricane strength before Friday as the storm will encounter cooler water temperatures. Meanwhile, another Tropical Storm called Linda has been reported of moving slowly with no such change in its strength over the Pacific.
