Tiger kills gardener in China zoo
October 15th, 2010 - 12:43 am ICT by IANSBeijing Oct 14 (IANS) A gardener was mauled to death by a tiger in a zoo in China, Xinhua reported Thursday.
The victim fell into the tiger’s pen after he climbed over a fence, officials of the Shenzhen Safari Park in Shenzhen city said.
Sheng Jinhua’s body was found at about 2.45 p.m. Zookeepers called the police.
Sheng, 54, violated the safety rules when he climbed over the fence. Police have launched a probe.
