Sweltering day for Delhi
June 20th, 2012 - 11:34 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 20 (IANS) It was a hot morning for the capital Wednesday with the minimum temperature settling two notches above the average for the season at 29.7 degrees Celsius. The weather office has forecast the maximum temperature to shoot up to 43 degrees Celsius.
“Sky is likely to be clear. Maximum temperature will be around 43 degrees Celsius,” said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 63 percent.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature was four notches above the average at 41.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was average for this time of the season at 28.2 degrees.
