Sunny, nippy morning in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 21 (IANS) It was a sunny morning in Delhi Friday with a nip in the air hinting at the winter days ahead. The Met office forecast a dip in the evening temperature.

A light cover of mist enveloped the city early morning.

“The day will be bright and clear but the evening will witness a drop in temperature and will be chilly,” an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for this time of the season, while the maximum temperature would be around 34 degrees Celsius, he said.

Humidity would waver between 82 and 43 percent.

Thursday’s maximum and minimum temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius respectively.
