Sunny morning in Delhi
October 2nd, 2010 - 11:33 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 2 (IANS) It was a bright and sunny morning in Delhi Saturday as the skies remained clear and the weatherman forecast a dry spell in the coming days.
“There are no chances of rainfall today (Saturday) or in the coming days. The skies are predicted to remain clear,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature recorded was 23.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for this time of the season while the maximum is expected to hover around 33.7 degrees.
The maximum humidity level was recorded at 88 percent while the minimum was 39 percent, the official said.
The capital witnessed one of its wettest monsoons this year. The rainfall received so far crossed 1,031.5 mm - around 56 percent above the seasonal average.
