Sunny, humid day ahead for Delhi
September 26th, 2011 - 11:56 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 26 (IANS) A sunny and humid day lies ahead for Delhi Monday with the maximum temperature likely to touch 34 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
“Delhi has been experiencing a hot and humid weather for the last few days and Monday will be similar,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The minimum temperature recorded early morning was two notches above average at 24.7 degrees. The maximum humidity touched 84 percent.
Rains are unlikely as a clear day has been forecast.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature was 34.7 degrees and the minimum was recorded at 24.2 degrees. Humidity wavered between a high of 85 percent and low of 47 percent.
