Sunny day in Delhi, no more rains (Lead)

New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS) It was a sunny Saturday after a spate of cloudy and rainy days. The weatherman predicted no more rains in the next few days.
“There will be no rainfall in the next few days, it will be mainly a clear sky,” an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

No rainfall was recorded from Friday morning till 5.30 p.m. Saturday. The humidity levels continue to remain high with the maximum at 93 percent.

The maximum temperature was 33 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average while the minimum was 24.1 degrees Celsius, a degree above average.

The maximum temperature Sunday is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius while minimum is likely around 24 degrees celsius.

The national capital witnessed one of its wettest monsoons this year, resulting in heavy waterlogging and flood threats. The rainfall has so far crossed 1,031.5 mm, 63 percent above the seasonal average.
