Spring in the air, Delhi will get warmer

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS) Residents of Delhi continued to enjoy Wednesday as the temperatures remain moderate and people enjoyed the spring. The maximum temperature was at 26 degrees, normal for this time of the year, while the minimum temperature remained at 10 degrees Celsius.

Most places in north India saw similar moderate temperatures. The maximum temperature in Chandigarh was 24 degrees while Lucknow and Patna were both at a comfortable 26.

The Met office here said that the maximum and minimum temperatures would continue to show a gradual increase in the days to come.

The following were the maximum and minimum temperatures and rainfall in major cities for the 24 hours till Wednesday morning, with figures in brackets denoting deviations from the average.
