Slight rise in Delhi’s temperature but chill persists

- New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) The capital Monday witnessed a slight rise in the mercury level, although the early morning chill persisted as people pulled out their sweatshirts and shawls.
The minimum temperature recorded Monday at around 8.30 a.m. was 15.7 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“The minimum temperature recorded this morning was two degrees above the average. The weather will remain clear through the day although the evening will turn chilly,” an IMD official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
