Slight drizzle in Delhi, more rain likely
January 6th, 2012 - 12:11 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 6 (IANS) A blanket of fog coupled with slight drizzle made for a cold Friday morning in the capital. The Met office has forecast rain later in the day.
Around 8.30 a.m., 0.7 mm of rain was recorded. The minimum temperature was five notches above average at 12.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 18 degrees.
“The sky will remain partly cloudy with possibility of rain later in the day,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
Humidity stood at 98 percent in the morning.
Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degrees, two notches below average, while the maximum settled at 19.3 degrees.
