Shimla, May 5 (IANS) Woollens were being pulled out again as thundershowers brought down temperatures in most parts of Himachal Pradesh Monday, a day after this state capital experienced its hottest day this summer. The rains were accompanied by strong winds and there were reports of hailstorms at a few places.
The mercury rose to 28.7 degrees celsius Sunday in Shimla - the highest this summer - but plummeted after the showers Monday.
The rain also brought much relief to people in the the lower hills of Himachal Pradesh, which had seen temperatures rising over 30 degrees celsius.
