Shallow fog covers Delhi
February 17th, 2010 - 11:39 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 17 (IANS) Shallow fog covered Delhi Wednesday morning, bringing back the winter chill to the national capital. The weatherman has forecast a drop in the mercury.
Delhi recorded a minimum of 10 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the year. The minimum temperature Tuesday was 10.7 degrees Celsius.
“Due to the cool winds blowing over the capital, the minimum temperature is likely to drop further. The maximum temperature Wednesday is likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
