Roar of tiger at Rajpath!
January 26th, 2011 - 1:02 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 26 (IANS) Tigers roared at Rajpath Wednesday, as a tableau rolled in at the Republic Day parade with the message to save India’s national animal.The tableau by the Central Public Works Department had giant flower sculptures of two tigers along with two cubs. The entire central boulevard resounded with the cry of the tiger, driving home the point that India’s tigers were in peril.
Only 1,400 of them roam the wild in the country today.
