Rise in temperature, but weather remains pleasant
October 30th, 2009 - 2:34 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS) Delhi saw a rise in the mercury level early Friday, but the weather continued to remain pleasant.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 a.m. Friday was 17.5 degrees Celsius, which is a notch above average. Over the past three days, the minimum temperature has been hovering around the 13.5 degree mark.
“There has been an increase in the minimum temperature today, although the chill was persistent in the morning and will be in the evening. There will be no major dip in the temperature over the next few days,” an IMD official said.
The IMD has predicted a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius during the day.
