Pleasant day in Delhi ahead of Diwali(Lead)
October 25th, 2011 - 8:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 25 (IANS) Delhiites experienced a pleasant Tuesday with the maximum temperature settling a notch below average at 31.2 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a clear sky on Diwali Wednesday.
“The minimum temperature Tuesday settled a notch above average at 17.6 degrees Celsius,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Humidity wavered between a high of 90 and low of 31 percent.
There was a mild chill in the air and mist in the morning. The sky remained clear.
According to IMD, Wednesday will also see a nippy and misty morning followed by clear and sunny sky.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 32 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
