No respite from cold in Kashmir, Ladakh
January 22nd, 2010 - 2:13 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Srinagar, Jan 22 (IANS) There was no respite from cold wave conditions Friday in the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh with minimum temperatures remaining below the freezing point.
“The minimum temperature in Srinagar today (Friday) was minus 1.3 degrees Celsius. It was minus 14.8 degrees in Kargil and minus 10.8 degrees in Leh,” an official of the weather department told IANS here.
The weather office forecast rain and snow in the Kashmir Valley later Friday.
