New bride Jade Goody left bed-ridden by cancer
February 26th, 2009 - 4:18 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 26 (ANI): Wedding preparations left cancer-stricken Jade Goody so weak that doctors visited her at home after being told she was in too much pain to make hospital out-patients’ appointment.
The former Big Brother star was due to see specialists at London’s Royal Marsden hospital for an out-patients’ appointment.
However, she was in so much pain, doctors visited her at home instead.
“She knew this was going to happen and that she would be this tired and ill,” the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.
“It was the price she was always going to pay for putting so much into Sunday’s bash.
“She feels terrible - but wouldn’t change a thing.
“She is still on a high and thrilled with the memories of her wedding. It was such a perfect day she is more than happy to suffer for it now,” the source added.
Goody has had a hospital bed moved into the dining room of her Essex home and is hooked up to a morphine drip in a bid to ease her agony.
She had planned to spend this week organising christening of sons Bobby-Jack, five, and Freddy, four.
However, the latest setback has prevented her from getting involved and she’s handed the reins to new hubby Tweed, mum Jackiey Budden and close pals while she rests. (ANI)
