More rain, snow likely in Himachal

Shimla, Jan 7 (IANS) The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh continued to shiver as temperatures dropped drastically Friday. The weather office has forecast more snow and rain Saturday.The high hills of Lahaul and Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba and Kullu districts may experience another spell of snow, while the mid hills will get rain, Manmohan Singh, director of the meteorological office here, told IANS.
Keylong, headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, was coldest at minus 11.8 degrees.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus 4.5 degrees, while it was 0.2 degrees at Bhuntar in Kullu district and 3.1 degrees at Dharamsala.
Shimla recorded a minimum of 5.5 degrees.
