More rain lash Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, June 18 (IANS) Heavy rains lashed mid and lower hills of Himachal Pradesh Wednesday as the monsoon came down on the state with its full fury. Guler town in Kangra district recorded 110 mm of rain overnight followed by 94 mm in Shimla town and 76 mm at the tourist resort of Dharamshala, the Met Office said.
Overcast conditions are prevailing over Shimla town and other adjoining areas since Tuesday with intermittent rains.
Meanwhile, Shimla’s maximum temperature was 20.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum 16.1 degrees Celsius.
