Mist in Delhi as temperature dips
December 4th, 2010 - 12:53 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) A blanket of shallow fog greeted Delhiites Saturday morning, with the temperature dipping further.
“The sky is expected to clear by the afternoon. However, it would get colder by the end of the day,” said an official from the Indian Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius, witnessing a dip of 0.1 degrees as compared to Friday.
The misty morning came as an alarm bell for traffic policemen and commuters as the weather office predicted thicker fog by the end of the month.
Humidity is expected to hover around 90 percent.
