Mercury touches 45.3 degree in Orissa
May 11th, 2011 - 10:17 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, May 11 (IANS) The heat wave condition intensified in Orissa with Talcher town Wednesday recording 45.3 degree Celsius, the day’s highest in the state.
Talcher is located in Angul district, about 130 km from here. An official said that many other places, mostly in the western parts, continued to reel under the extreme heat.
Bhubaneswar and nearby Cuttack, however, remained slightly cool.
