An earthquake having magnitude 4.3 shook California today at 10:40:29 AM local time or (Monday, March 30, 2009 at 17:40:29 UTC).
The quake was reportedly felt by many people at San Jose as reported on twitter.
The quake occured just 25 KM(16 miles) from San Jose City Hall at a depth of 6.2 km (3.9 miles).
The Northern California Management Center reports the earthquake in California had a revised preliminary magnitude of 4.6. As of writing, USGS estimated the quake to have a magnitude of 4.3
