Louisiana State Issues Weather Warning

Baton Rouge, Dec. 05, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the arrival of December, different states have started to issue weather warning reports for the citizens. Louisiana is one of the states to issue weather warning for the dwellers of the region. State Police of Louisiana have asked drivers to drive cautiously on the roads as there are high risks of accidents for the adverse weather conditions. As the weather forecast stated that the condition would deteriorate further in this weekend, the police department asked people to avoid driving on the roads of Louisiana but if they have to drive, then they should be extremely careful.
The weather conditions of the state has started to deteriorate from Thursday and people living in this region can expect ice and snow in different parts of the state throughout the weekend. Sergeant Markus L. Smith, in his statement declared that the state might receive snow, sleet and rain for the wintry weather conditions that can lead to road blockage in different parts of the state. It has also been reported by the sources that Transportation and Development department of the state may also declare road closure for the wintry weather conditions and so people should get themselves updated with the latest road conditions before coming out of their houses.
Police department of Louisiana state not only issued warning about the road conditions but also provided tips for the drivers. They suggested the drivers drive slowly and not to use brake immediately after they see ice, as the vehicle might skid if the brake is applied all of a sudden. All drivers were asked to keep emergency flares, flashlights, cell phone, drinking water and blankets in their car so that they can save themselves in an emergency situation.
