Los Angeles rocked by earthquake of low intensity

LA QUAKE Los Angeles, Nov 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Los Angeles was rocked by a low intensity earthquake in the wee hours of the morning. The quake struck about 78 km from the Los Angeles civic centre at around 10:11 UTC. The magnitude of the earthquake was quiet low at 3.4 on the Richter scale.

Loss of property and causalities are yet to be reported. However much loss is not expected as the intensity was quiet low. It affected the Greater Los Angeles area in California. Its depth was around 5.3 kms. At the epicenter it was 2:11 am.

It was quiet a hot topic on the micro-blogging and the social networking site Twitter as many users reported about it.
