Keylong in Himachal records minus 8.3 degrees Celsius

Shimla, Dec 22 (IANS) Keylong was the coldest place in Himachal Pradesh Tuesday at minus 8.3 degrees Celsius as high altitudes of the state remained under the grip of a harsh cold wave.
Keylong is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti. Kalpa in Kinnaur district was the second coldest place in Himachal at a minimum of minus 4.5 degrees Celsius, the state’s meteorological director Manmohan Singh said.
Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius.
