Kalam to release Modi’s book on climate change

Gandhinagar, Dec 20 (IANS) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s first book in English, on the issue of climate change, will be released in Ahmedabad Tuesday.The 250-page book titled “Convenient Action: Gujarat’s response to Challenges of Climate Change”, published by Macmillan, will be released at a function presided over by former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
R.K. Pachauri, director general, The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI), will be the guest of honour at the function.
Modi has authored many books in his mother tongue Gujarati. This is his first in English.
