Nov.9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) People in the coastal regions needs to brace themselves against the advent of the hurricane Ida. It has been stated by the sources that after moving through different places of Central America, Hurricane Ida is moving toward the United States. Hurricane Ida has become stronger than earlier and now the forecasters are considering it as a “Category 2 storm”.
After gathering massive strength, Hurricane Ida moved through different parts of Gulf of Mexico on Sunday and made the observatories extend weather alerts in Florida. People living in Concan have already experienced a bout of the shower accompanied with strong winds, as the storm moved through this region on Sunday. Hurricane Ida’s projection path indicated that after moving through Concan, the storm would enter the Gulf Coast either on Monday or Tuesday. That is why, the hurricane alert is issued for areas lying between Louisiana and Mexico Beach.
With Ida getting stronger, agencies in Utah started to implement different measures for preparing people to defend against the storm. It has come to the news that they have organized different mock disasters so that they can check the rate of damage if the storm affects the region. Not only Utah, but also Louisiana has started to take necessary precautions for this storm. Bobby Jindal, the governor of Louisiana announced emergency in anticipation of the storm. Alert was issued for the National Guards so that they can fight the storm when it approaches the state. Some sources stated that the storm might get weaker gradually but states which are in the projected path of Ida are taking necessary measures to combat the storm.
