Hurricane Carlos Proving To Be A Threat

It has been reported that the showers and storms that have affected South California on July 9, has been increasingly growing on to what everyone fears, to be the Hurricane Carlos. According to the latest reports, the hurricane had already affected the Mexican Coast along the Pacific ocean on Saturday and is right now heading farther in to the sea.
On Saturday at about 11 pm EDT (0300 GMT Sunday), the location of the Hurricane Carlos has been positioned at about 1,045 miles or 1680 kilometers southwest from the southern tip of Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida has been delivering about the latest updates regarding the exact position of the hurricane. According to them, the hurricane is moving in the western direction. The Center is of the opinion that due to the influence of the hurricane the winds that are blowing at a speed of 85 miles per hour (135 kph) is expected to gather more strength.
The center has been quoted saying, “Carlos could become a major hurricane during the next day or two.”
It is known that from the center at the storm the tropical force winds extended outward 70 miles. But right now there has not been any sort of alert issues as it has strengthened in to a minimal Category 1 hurricane. Based on satellite presentation, the hurricane Carlos has developed into a small eye feature.
The hurricane Carlos is part of the Pacific Hurricane Season that had commenced from May and will end in November. The Pacific hurricane season comprises of four major storms of different characteristics among which Carlos is a major one.
