Hot Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be same (Lead)
June 26th, 2012 - 8:42 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 26 (IANS) Delhi sweated again Tuesday although the maximum temperature dipped a bit, but it was still three notches above the average at 40.6 degrees Celsius. Wednesday is expected to be the same.
The day’s minimum temperature was five degrees above average at 33.3 degrees Celsius, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The humidity levels were between 32 and 23 percent.
According to IMD, Wednesday would be hot and sunny while the skies would remain clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 40 and 32 degrees Celsius respectively.
Monday’s maximum temperature settled five notches above the average at 42.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was three notches above the average at 31.2 degrees Celsius.
