Hot Tuesday in Delhi, similar weather Wednesday (Lead)
June 19th, 2012 - 8:07 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 19 (IANS) Delhi residents experienced a hot Tuesday with the maximum temperature settling at 41.5 degrees, four notches above the average. The met office has forecast similar weather conditions Wednesday.
The minimum temperature was average for this time of the season at 28.2 degrees Celsius, while the humidity wavered between a high of 33 and and low of 16 percent.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said Wednesday would be hot and sunny, and the skies will remain clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 43 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively.
Monday’s maximum temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below average while the minimum settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, average for the season, following a drizzle early morning.
