High humidity leaves Delhiites restless

New Delhi, May 26 (IANS) Residents of Delhi experienced uncomfortable, muggy weather Tuesday with the humidity levels touching 75 percent.
The maximum temperature settled at 38.7 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees below normal while the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.

“Residents of Delhi had a tough time beating the humid weather. The skies will be mainly clear Wednesday with day temperature hovering around 40 degrees Celsius,” an official at the Safdarjung meteorological office told IANS.

Saanya Khanna, a Delhi University student, said she was completely exhausted after a bus journey because of the humid weather.

“The humid weather made my journey by bus terrible. The weather is very sticky and makes one uncomfortable,” said Khanna.
