Four flights diverted from Delhi for technical reasons
December 23rd, 2011 - 4:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 23 (IANS) Four flights, including a cargo service, which were scheduled to land at the national capital’s IGI airport were diverted early Friday morning due to operational reasons, airport officials said.
“The flights were diverted due to the operational or technical reasons of the airlines,” an official with the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) told IANS.
The diverted services included two international operations of Jet Airways coming in from Doha and Abu Dhabi, which were diverted to Jaipur. A Kingfisher Airlines flight from Dubai was also diverted to Jaipur.
A Blue Dart cargo service coming in from Chennai was diverted to Ahmedabad, a statement said.
On Thursday, 10 flights were cancelled due to operational reasons or poor weather conditions at the destination.
