Force US to own up Bhopal, urge gas victims’ kids
December 18th, 2009 - 10:34 pm ICT by IANS ( 1 comment )Bhopal, Dec 18 (IANS) Urging the world leaders participating in the Copenhagen climate summit to force the US to take up full responsibility of Bhopal, Hiroshima and other such disasters, the children of victims appealed that “profit-hungry” country and its allies be stopped from taking the world towards destruction.
The Bhopal gas tragedy occurred on the night of Dec 2-3, 1984, when tonnes of methyl isocyanate spewed out of the Union Carbide pesticide plant, killing more than 3,500 people instantly and maiming thousands more.
The children have also sent an open letter, on e-mail, to leaders of India, China, South Africa and other African countries, Brazil and the US, that while the US was “preaching” environment lessons to the world at Copenhagen and it was itself continuing to pollute and kill people in third world countries by dumping hazardous technologies.
Bhopal Gas Peedit Sangharsh Sahayog Samiti convener Sadhna Karnik Pradhan, who led the children’s initiative, said: “Even 25 years after the biggest industrial disaster of the era, the second and third generation of Bhopal gas victims were suffering from life-threatening and crippling diseases and are forced to drink polluted water and live in a polluted atmosphere”.
“The children are forced to protest since America has totally shrugged off its responsibility in Bhopal and it is also trying to impede the proceedings at the Climate Change summit in Copenhagen that might lead to start of the end of the planet earth,” she said, adding there was an urgent need to stop the “anti-people policies” of America and its allies.

yes bhopal is a festering abscess symbolising the greed and indifference of big business american style(including of course the cigarette monopolies, 24 hour per day highly profitable mirv missile carrying submarines, the ever expanding corruption world wide of rockefeller style rapacious capitalism and it must be repeated over and over again the i love jesus peace and freedom ethics of the united states , mass media consumerist lying cheating brain washing, the farce that is called the kyoto climate change protocol and the deadly failure of the world leaders money in the pocket forked tongue hypocrisy in copenhagen so forth and so on and the list goes on ad nausam until the rich and poor alike will self annihilate together with their children. no more needs to be said. even the talented obama commander in chief is a liar and a cheat and is the best of the worst. it is time in matters of life and death the idolatry now pandemic of self worship, blind overconsumption and consumerism and world wide mental pollution and poverty is horrendous and disgusting. naturally suicidal murderous desperate suicide killing is spreading like the plague within the islamic world. . hari kiri,and the ethics of the kamikazi have now been legitimised by the american way of being which annihilated nagasaki and hiroshima for jesus peace freedom and democracy. this is the way that rapacious rockefeller bounty hunting capitalism i repeat for the 3rd time has transformed itself in the hi-tech post modern era of human kinds evolution.
