Foggy morning likely Tuesday too in Delhi (Lead)
December 28th, 2009 - 9:08 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 28 (IANS) Delhi is likely to witness a foggy morning Tuesday with the minimum temperature set to hover around six degrees Celsius, a weather department official said Monday.
“There will be fog in the morning but the sky will remain clear during the day,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The minimum and maximum temperatures will be around six degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The capital saw a chilly morning Monday with a minimum temperature of 5.7 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 21.4 degree Celsius. Both the maximum and minimum temperature were a notch below the average.
The city also witnessed light fog with visibility down to 500 metres, the official added.
Delhi Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 22.7 degrees Celsius.
