- New Delhi, May 4 (IANS) Monday saw a relatively pleasant start to the day in the capital with a light breeze blowing sans the scorching heat that prevailed last week. Met officials said there was a possibility of a dust storm or thunderstorm too.
Although the minimum temperature recorded in the morning was three notches above average at 27.1 degrees Celsius, it was not unbearably hot.
“Just like over the weekend, there is likely to be a dust storm and thunderstorm later Monday. This will keep the mercury level low,” an official of the Safdarjung Met office said.
The maximum temperature, the official added, would hover around 38 degrees Celsius, which is average for this time of the year.
