New Delhi, June 16 (IANS) Delhiites enjoyed comfortable weather Tuesday with both maximum and minimum temperature recording a drop and humidity settling at normal level.
The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 36.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average for this time of the season while minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, four degrees below the average.
“Western disturbances over Rajasthan have brought respite to the residents of Delhi from sweltering heat. The day temperature is likely to settle below normal for the next two to three days,” an official at the India Meteorological Department here told IANS.
Humidity was 53 percent.
The met department has forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers Wednesday. The maximum and minimum temperature are likely to be around 38 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
