Delhi temperature to rise Tuesday, fog expected
November 23rd, 2009 - 8:34 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 23 (IANS) Delhiites can expect a slight let-up in the chill Tuesday with both the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to rise by over a degree. Fog can also be expected in the morning, weather officials said Monday.
“We expect Tuesday would be a bit more warm than today (Monday). The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 27 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius Tuesday against 25.8 degrees Celsius and 9.6 degrees Celsius, respectively, Monday,” an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The official said the rise in temperature will be due to western disturbances.
According to the official, there would be fog Tuesday morning followed by partly cloudy sky. The minimum visibility would be around 600 metres.
