Delhi gets colder

New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) Delhi experienced a chilly and misty Saturday morning with the minimum temperature being recorded at 7.7 degrees Celsius. The weatherman predicted that the city would get colder in the coming few days.
“The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.7 degrees Celsius. In the coming days the temperature is expected to go to 7 degrees Celsius,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, the minimum temperature recorded was 8.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for this time of the season. On Thursday, the minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius. The season’s lowest, however, was 7.9 degrees Nov 28.
