Delhi gets a wee bit colder
December 18th, 2009 - 12:17 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS) It was a chilly and misty Friday morning in the national capital with met officials saying the city would get colder in the next few days.
“The minimum temperature recorded Friday morning was 8.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. Over the next few days the temperatures will drop even further with dense fog,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
On Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees Celsius. The season’s lowest was however 7.9 degrees Nov 28.
The maximum temperature Friday is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.
