Delhi experiences another hot day (Lead)
June 22nd, 2010 - 8:20 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 22 (IANS) There was no respite from the sweltering heat Tuesday as the capital recorded a maximum temperature of 44.3 degrees Celsius, five notches above the average, the weatherman said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 32.6 degrees Celsius, four degrees above the average for this time of the year.
“The national capital can expect a clear sky with possibility of duststorms and thunderstorms in some parts towards Wednesday evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature Wednesday will hover around 44 degrees Celsius and minimum at 33 degrees Celsius, the official added.
