Delhi expected to get rain for third consecutive day

New Delhi, June 12 (IANS) Delhiites will continue to enjoy respite from scorching heat Friday with rain expected to hit the capital for the third consecutive day, a meteorological official said.
While the maximum temperature will hover around 40 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 27 degrees.

“The sky will remain partly cloudy and rain accompanied by thunder is expected during the day,” a weatherman told IANS.

Delhi was lashed by rain for the second day in a row Thursday. The capital received 0.1 mm rainfall, bringing down the day temperature to 33.4 degrees Celsius, eight notches below the average.
