Delhi can expect foggy, but warm weekend (Lead)
December 12th, 2009 - 8:56 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 12 (IANS) Delhi can expect a foggy but warm weekend with the weatherman forecasting that the temperatures will remain above average over the next few days.
Saturday morning was misty but relatively warm. The capital recorded a minimum of 11.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above average for this time of the year, an Indian Meteorological Department official said.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy with mist and shallow fog during the next two to three days. The day temperature is likely to settle above the normal (average),” the official said.
The maximum temperature recorded Saturday was 24.1 degrees Celsius, which was average.
The city Wednesday recorded a minimum of 8.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest for the month till now.
The coldest day of the season so far was Nov 28 when the minimum temperature dropped to 7.9 degrees Celsius.
