Cold wave to intensify in Agra
December 7th, 2010 - 12:07 pm ICT by IANSAgra, Dec 7 (IANS) A day after the Taj city recorded the coldest day of the season, the weather office Tuesday said the cold wave will intensify here in the next few days.
“The cold wave will intensify in the next couple of days. On Monday, the temperature fell sharply to 6 degrees Celsius,” said an official in the weather office.
The night shelters put up by local voluntary group Sri Nathji Nishulk Jal Sewa reported full attendance.
The early morning fog Tuesday affected traffic on highways.
“Winter has set in a little early this year causing great inconvenience to marriage party attendees,” socialite Sudhir Gupta said.
