Clear, sunny day in Delhi (Lead)

New Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) It was a clear and sunny Thursday in the national capital Thursday with the temperatures settling above average. The met office has forecast similar weather Friday.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 28 and 13.5 degrees Celsius, both a notch above average,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The humidity wavered between a high of 96 and a low of 50 percent.

According to IMD, Friday morning will be foggy but the afternoon would be clear and sunny.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 14 degrees,” respectively.

Wednesday’s maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 27.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was three notches above average at 15 degrees Celsius.
